Amy approaches counselling as a collaborative process informed by anti-oppressive and trauma sensitive practice. Seeing a counsellor is a very personal choice and the person you work with must be a good fit. It’s a good idea to shop around. For this reason Amy offers a free 30 minute session to new clients as a way to meet and greet without obligation.

Amy is a Registered Social Worker holding a master’s degree. She is a full member of the BC Association of Social Workers.

Engaging in therapy can be a very helpful process for many people. Therapy is most effective when the yourself and the counsellor you work with are a good fit. It is recommended to shop around for a provider who you feel comfortable with. For this reason Amy offers a free 30 minute conversation to new clients as a way to meet and greet without obligation.

Please note, many extended medical plans cover session costs when working with a RSW. You will receive a receipt after each session to submit to your provider. Please connect with Amy if you have questions.
